Bachelors Degree in Nursing with PRC license
preferably 1 year Hospital exposure
1. Identifies nursing needs of the patients.
2.Admit patients.
3.Assist patient in moving, maintaining proper alignment of patient’s body and utilizing good
body mechanics,
4.Regulate and monitor IV fluids
5.Measures and records fluid intake and output as directed.
6. Reports observations to the physician.
7.Performs post mortem care.
8.Assist physicians when examining patients.
9. Implement hospital policies and procedures.
10.Plans, gives and evaluates nursing care.
11.Establishes support and trust with the patient and family members.
12.Provides and assist the Head Nurse in providing learning experiences for the new nurses and
non-nursing personnel.
13. Obtains nursing history and does an initial physical examination.
14. Defines health needs and medical problems from the data gathered.
15. Formulates nursing care plan.
16.Gives direct nursing care.
17.Monitor all vital signs and identifies significant deviations.
18.Administered prescribed medications.
19.Carry out doctor’s order within the hospital policy and legal limitations.
20. Provides health teaching to the patient and family members,
21. Renders, supervises, facilitates and assists in nursing and other therapeutic measures.
22. Document all relevant information pertinent to patient care.
23.Report and endorsed appropriately.
24.Discharge patients
25. Records the disposition of dangerous drugs and narcotics.
26. Participates in research program in the department of nursing and in studies of other departments
that affect patient care.
27. Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars.
28. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
